Get a wiggle on

Lately, the weather has been chilly on Mayne Island. Today I walked down the hill to inspect my blackberry bush.
The second week of August is blackberry picking time. However, this year an early harvest is promised.

Before moving to Mayne Island, I had savoured this berry. Now I long for a taste. Still the appearance of rip berries does make me wonder, "Will we have an early autumn?"

This question has sped my needles.

I have inches left to knit on the second sleeve and then of course the pockets. It promises to be a warm sweater. I can't wait to model it for you.
